This recipe reminds of a calm day. It’s simple but definitely crowd pleaser!
Serves : 2-3 Total Time : 45 minutes
Ingredients
960 ml water
2-3 pears
2 slices of lemon
1 tbsp honey
2-3 rose tea bags (you can also use vanilla earl grey or lavender tea bags) Garnish
1-2 cup coconut yogurt
Almonds
Shredded coconut
Granola
Honey to drizzle
Method
Peel Pears (always use Pears that are firm to touch, soft pears with result in mushy pears)
Cut pears into halves and core pears
Place water, lemon slices, tea bags and 1 tbsp honey into a pot
Place pears into infused water, make sure pears are completely submerged, otherwise use a smaller pot
Bring to boil
Lower to a low fire and let infuse for 35 mins
After 35 mins, scoop out infused pears
Do not discard tea infused liquid (you can add ice and have it as an ice tea after straining to avoid wastage)
Add coconut yogurt onto a bowl
Place infused pear on top
Garnish with granola, almonds & shredded coconut
Drizzle with more honey
